Non-thinking models not showing

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Hi, I am very new to Cursor and I am stuck with this: in settings I see all models as expected, but I am not able to see thinking models, when selected, in the options when writing a prompt. So I can’t use modern models basically.
Thanks for your advice.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. selecting models in settings
  2. they are not there in the actual model options when prompting

Expected Behavior

I would expect the selected models will be there.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report. You might have Auto mode enabled, try turning it off, and model selection should become available. Let me know if the issue isn’t related to that.
