:white_check_mark: Check the forum to ensure the issue hasn’t been reported already
Didn’t find anything about it

:lady_beetle: Provide a clear description of the bug
Since version 0.48 was released, I’ve been experiencing this issue repeatedly and randomly.

The agent tries to make edits, and this message appears in the chat:

“This file is already being edited in another thread. Please accept or reject that edit first.”

Then, it decides to start creating new files and directories.

I don’t know if this is an issue with how Cursor edits files, but it started happening with version 0.48.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Explain how to reproduce the bug (if known)
I don’t know how to reproduce it because it occurs randomly but consistently.

:prohibited: Tell us if the issue stops you from using Cursor.
It is possible to use Cursor at the moment, but the frequency of this issue increases with each passing hour.

If I’m doing something wrong, please help me.

Im also using 0.48 but cant reproduce it.. Do you have another chat tab open that has not yet approved/rejectd changes? 0.48 allows multiple chat threads and the error matches to what I would expect from having this case.

All the edits were accepted, but they remained open. I closed them, and now it seems to work.

The solution, for now, is to close all the tabs and keep only one chat open
