I’ve a very long chat with sonnet max and at some point it started to fail calling all the tools

I have this to.
All day yesterday and still today.
It will look like it’s calling a tool, but nothing happens. There is no response, see image.
Sometimes a file will show up in the root directory with the output of the tool call as shown in the image.
When one fails all subsequent calls in that chat will also fail. The agent needs to be stopped manually and a “continue” prompt issued. This will sometimes, but most often not bring functioning tool calls back. Most of the time I have to restart Cursor completely, issue a “continue” prompt to get them working again. Then at some point later, sometimes only after a single tool call, it will fail again.
I don’t see any pattern to when it fails, but it seems more likely the longer the chat goes. But I’ve also had it recover (after restart) and continue without problems.
Still get billed for every ‘continue’
