Tools Breaking in Latest Update (Gemini)

Describe the Bug

Since the update that was just dropped all the tool calls my models try to make just fail.

Steps to Reproduce

Use the model wait for it to grep or anything else.

Expected Behavior

Tools dont fail continuously

Same here, it’s been about a month. Gemini is a workhorse and my daily driver for execution, using o3/claude(s) for planning or problem solving.

This is profoundly stopping me from being efficient with cursor.

I’m amazed it hasn’t been fixed yet.

We’re spending about $1300/mo as a team, I guess we deserve something like ‘not breaking one of the major MAX model’, but holds true for free users as well.
