Describe the Bug
Since two days I get the error ‘We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider’. At first I thought this was because I reached the limit of my Pro account. Today a new billing started so I had tokens to spend, but unfortunately I get the same error. I also tried to disable the Figma MCP to see if that caused the issue, but no… I get the error on all models.
Steps to Reproduce
I connected the Figma MCP this weekend, it worked great at first. Mentioning this because I don’t know it this might influence the issue.
To reproduce: type anything in the chat. After a couple of seconds you get the error.

Does this stop you from using Cursor
Yes - Cursor is unusable
