hi @Battlezone before we look into the actual request details I would like to gather more clearer information what is occuring as it is not easy to reproduce.
Do you use the same Cursor version, repository and project setup as your colleagues?
Please share the Cursor version you use and how you access Background Agents.
There may be some difference in prompt if AI does not perform changes but says it is about a UI issue that was not implemented.
Are you able to share approximately how you ask AI in the prompt?
Example: AI follows wording sometimes very precise. If we ask AI to “Investigate why something is happening” it will do so without providing changes. Better alternative would be to prompt AI “There is an UI lag with rendering of widgets, find a solution and implement it.” since this instructs AI to do the change.
My apologies for not being clear enough, but I am using the web version so I am assuming it’s the latest version.
I have tried different kinds of prompts, even very simple ones such as “remove this code”.
I also tried asking the model to make a small calculator script in python in an empty fresh repository. Same issue.
It always says “No changes were made”. Then it describes what the session was supposedly about, but that no changes were made.
I have deleted that request, and now it seems like I can’t even select my repository anymore (I get the stop sign when I hover over “select repository” and it remains greyed out), so unfortunately I can’t provide a request id. Looks like some kind of ban.

I have also noticed that there’s some inconcistencies (kind of obsolete data still being used) when I switch browsers. On Chrome, which I used a lot, I still see an old repository that I already unlinked, but on Edge I see “select a repository”. Also, on Edge I get “Connect your github account” for some reason although I’ve already connected it.
@condor The repository selection issue has already been solved, yet I still can’t use any of the models except for Supernova. Note that even after my subscription was renewed, I still could not use 4.1 Opus! (I get the “no changes were made”). I am paying for Pro and not using student discount..
