Ubuntu Cursor Generation Not Happening or Very Slow

I bought the pro subscription a couple of days ago.
I have a Windows and an Ubuntu 22.04 machine. On the windows machine everything works perfectly fine. Once I switch to the Ubuntu machine hitting ctrl+k or ctrl+L opens up the corresponding chat interface. However, whenever I want to generate something it either works (around 10% of the cases but takes around a minute until an answer comes back) or it is loading even longer and I have to cancel it. This behavior occurs for all models gpt3.5 and gpt4.

I’m definitely logged in into my pro account because my model usage counter goes up.

Same issue here.
It seem that when used on Ubuntu the AppImage is not able to talk with the AI servers and/or the Cursor server. No firewall is running on the station.
