Describe the Bug

when cursor agent stream should pop up a confirmation box with the run button, sometimes the box doesn’t show at all, no run button, no box with terminal command, just all the chat become gray, only after I click to stop the current chat the terminal command shows with the message that user rejected it, seems like a pure UI issue

Steps to Reproduce

invoke in a long task that requires a lot of terminal command to run, sometimes you see this

the Run Command box should pop up correctly

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue, a regression in versions 2.3.x and 2.4.x. The command confirmation dialog doesn’t render, which leaves the chat stuck in a gray blocked state.

To help debug, the engineers need a bit more info, if you can share it:

  • Console errors: Ctrl+Shift+P → Developer: Toggle Developer Tools → Console tab (screenshot or copy the errors)
  • Request ID from the stuck chat: chat menu (top right) → Copy Request ID
