Please add the following info to help us diagnose your issue:
I just downloaded Cursor and am unable to turn off Cursor Tab accept/reject suggestions. I’ve tried ctrl+shift+p and disable cursor tab and also clicking the button on the bottom right. The button “Cursor Tab” has a strikethrough in it but the Accept/Reject green/red highlights still appear.
My settings:
Version: 0.48.9
VSCode Version: 1.96.2
Commit: 61e99179e4080fecf9d8b92c6e2e3e00fbfb53f0
Date: 2025-04-12T19:09:41.045Z
Electron: 34.3.4
Chromium: 132.0.6834.210
Node.js: 20.18.3
V8: 13.2.152.41-electron.0
OS: Linux x64 6.11.0-21-generic
I monitor changes to my files via git so this is repetitive and confusing. I think it should be turned off by default if there is a .git folder in the directory but that’s just me. Perhaps better would be for Cursor to accept them when I commit that line…somehow, sync those changes with git? Until then Cursor Tab is unusable to me.
I’ve tried reloading my window as well as exiting and restarting Cursor with no luck.
