Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report with the request ID and stack trace.

A few things to try:

  1. Instead of Auto, try selecting a specific model. Does that work? A similar report showed Auto failing while specific models worked fine: Can not use auto mode but opus and sonnet only

  2. Check if your corporate network has a proxy or VPN that might be interfering. You can run a network diagnostic via Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics.

  3. Try disabling HTTP/2. Open App Settings CMD + , search for “HTTP/2”, and enable “Disable HTTP/2”. This can help in corporate network environments.

Also, does this happen on every chat request, or only the first one after opening Cursor?

Let me know how it goes with the steps above.
