With some new version of Cursor, pressing CTRL + BACKSPACE now rejects all code changes. And this is true even while I’m typing and editing my follow-up prompt to the agent.
This has to be a bug, right?
We can’t have global hotkeys that undos things with common text editing shortcuts like CTRL + BACKSPACE (erase word).
I’ve tried unbinding everything that has the word “Reject” in the hotkey section, but nothing works. This appears hard-coded or something.
That sounds like a good idea.
I’m on 0.47.8, and it says there is no update to get. Am I right in assuming 0.48 isn’t out yet?
But would you also please take a look at why this hotkey is not unbindable?
I feel like it should be, right?
CTRL + ENTER should also probably not be a hotkey for “ACCEPT”. This is an alternative to SHIFT + ENTER in many typing inputs, so it may accidentally be used by a user.
I suggest CMD + SHIFT + ENTER to match the same narrative.
I agree. CMD ENTER (CTRL ENTER) is a common shortcut for submitting input and conflicts with submitting feedback when prompt below is not empty which it submits too.
