Accidentally Removing Changes With Keyboard

Multiple times now I’ve accidentally cleared unaccepted changes by mistake using keyboard shortcuts related to backspace and have to ask to reimplement all the changes again.

You shouldn’t be able to do this so easily, there’s no reason. You can easily just click reject. Rejecting could result in a lot of unaccepted changes getting removed where you can’t get them back so it’s a big deal to allow it.

Which version? The keyboard shortcut was changed in 0.48 and you can change all shortcuts see docu

Great  I’m still on 47.8

Except I can’t upgrade to 48… it fixes those things but do you know if that release is stable? If 48 exists why can’t I update to it? I have the cursor updater extension installed and when I run the command nothing happens.

0.48 is coming out this week was announced by Cursor team.

If you dont mind waiting its fine. Otherwise you would have to change from stable version to Early Access and having the risk that things break.

Cursor provided already some fixes for 0.48 so its moving in the right direction.
