Silent Accept Changes on 'open New Chat' in 0.48.2

Dear Cursor Team,

I couldnt find information on this so had to try it out myself, but find this potentially misleading and incomplete.

Im talking about having changes made to your code that are not ‘Accepted’ yet, and then ‘Opening a new Chat’ silently accepts all the changes without any confirmation?

Perhaps opening a new Chat window when changes aren’t saved yet should atleast warn the user about this and give him the option.

Thank you for your understanding.

(Repost because re-tagging it as Bug Report in original post didnt categorize it in this proper directory yet, apologies)

Hey, is this happening in version 0.48, I assume? What OS are you using? I just reproduced this issue, and I didn’t encounter any unintended acceptance when creating a new chat. Could you share more details, and if possible, record a video?

Thanks for the reponse. More info:
