Describe the Bug

Check out the “System/light/dark” mode toggle at the end of every page of your site.
That toggle (as of today - 27th Sept. 2025) is toggling automatically between modes, while my site is in “dark” mode (could be “System” mode too, both are dark).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to site : Cursor: The best way to code with AI
  2. Scroll all the way to bottom, where the “System/Light/Dark” mode toggle is present.
  3. Observe the toggle.

Expected Behavior

The toggle should be set to the one pre-selected mode, till user selects another.
Once selected by user, it should stay that way.

Hey, I don’t quite understand the issue. “System” means that if your OS is in dark mode, the site will switch to dark as well. Do you mean the toggle isn’t saving the selected mode?
