I am correcting cursor when making a plan and it keeps recursively saying:

Hey, thanks for the report. From your screenshot, it looks like create_plan got stuck in a recursive failure loop.

This is a known issue with plans, and the team has been working on fixes for similar failures. Some of them are already resolved in recent versions.

To investigate your specific case, could you please:

  1. Copy the Request ID from this chat (chat menu in the top right > Copy Request ID).
  2. Open the Developer Tools Console (Help > Toggle Developer Tools) and check whether any errors appear when the issue happens.
  3. Describe what you were doing right before the failure. Were you creating a new plan or trying to update an existing one?

Temporary workaround: try starting a new chat and creating a simpler plan with fewer details.

Hi Dean, thanks for your answer.

  1. Request ID is: 5842dc1b-255a-41b6-90c8-3b588eec6cff (one of but the one that cost me the most money)
  2. I won’t be doing that, It already cost me the equivalent of $20 trying to make plans i wont be spending any more trying to replicate it
  3. each attempt was me trying to update a plan that had been written but had mistakes. I was giving the agent further instructions on how i want to change the plan - a workflow that has been working for months!

Your temporary workaround seems quite patronizing im sorry to say. This is a workflow that is now broken and is costing us money.
