Hey, thanks for the report. I understand how frustrating this is.

This issue is affecting multiple users on recent versions, and the team is working on a fix. Similar reports are here: Plan mode seems to fail on final step of creating a plan

To help the engineers investigate, could you share:

  1. Request ID: open the chat menu (top right) → Copy Request ID
  2. Developer console logs: Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console, reproduce the issue, then paste the logs or share a screenshot
  3. Which model are you using for planning?

Send those details and we’ll take it from there.

I would be happy to help when you atleast type the message , again on every of my bug report post i get the word by word same response from cursor team member. I dont now if there is any real person or some AI is responding ■■■■ to me

I’m a real person on the Cursor team. I get why you’re frustrated, and I’m sorry if my last reply sounded templated. These are just the standard steps our team needs to investigate.

Request IDs and logs aren’t just a formality. They help our engineers understand why the bug shows up differently for different users and ship a fix faster. Without them, it’s hard to debug the issue remotely.

If you’re okay sharing:

  1. Request ID: open the chat menu in the top-right → Copy Request ID
  2. Logs: Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console (send a screenshot or paste the text after you reproduce the issue)

Also, if you mentioned other older bugs before, can you share links to those threads? I’ll check their status.

Bro thank you for this and other reports. This is what makes the tool better for all of us. Developers have lots of things on their hands considering how many things community wants/needs from them and amount of bugs introduced, so don’t let it affect you emotionally. Feel free to provide information requested by moderator earlier, this will make their job easier in fixing the problem. That’s the best we as a users can do. Good luck
