Urgent: Cursor AI Crash on MacBook Pro M4 (Professional Account)

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to report a critical issue that’s seriously impacting my ability to work. I’m using Cursor AI on a MacBook Pro M4, and I keep running into the following error:

“The window terminated unexpectedly (reason: ‘crashed’, code: ‘5’). We are sorry for the inconvenience. You can reopen the window to continue where you left off.”

This keeps happening repeatedly, and it’s becoming a major disruption. For context, I’m using a professional account, so this is quite urgent for me.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or does anyone know of a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but I keep encountering the same issue each time. However, it’s worth noting that uninstalling and reinstalling does not affect my conversation history because when I reinstall and open the project I’m working on, I notice that the history is still intact.
