So I needed to use 01 model for something and Cursor had me turn on usage-based pricing. Id id the requests to the o1 and now I wanna switch to the normal pricing. Or do I need to do that? If usage based pricing is turned on, do I still get the same number of free requests to the normal models I would on the normal plan and only be charged per-use of the o1 and other special models?
Hey, if you don’t need the o1 and o1-preview models, you can use the models from your subscription without additional costs. Currently, the premium models are gpt-4, gpt-4o, claude-3.5-sonnet, and claude-3.5-haiku.
And yes, you need to turn off the toggle to avoid accidentally using models with usage-based pricing.
I do, occasionally, need the good models. The reason I went to o1 is because the Claude Sonnet couldn’t handle the task I gave it. My question is: if the usage based pricing is turned on, will I get billed extra usage fees on those models that I would be able to use for “free” (as in invluded in the original price I paid) if I didn’t have the usage based pricing on? Does that make sense?
No, the models included in the subscription do not charge based on usage-based pricing.
