After using sonnet 3.7 thinking, tool ended frequently making unable to do anything.

I have the same problem.
Can’t use cursor at all.
It changes lots of code and breaks with “User aborted request”
I’m just loosing premium fast requests for no reason.

same - “user aborted request” happening every 10 or so tool calls. Also agent becomes non-responsive every ~10min which is solved by restarting cursor.
Note: this issue happens also on Sonnet 3.5! Cursor team really needs a better contract with Anthropic. Adding new models or increasing capacity should not brick the whole Editor for many users.

Hey, we are seeing an increase in failed requests due to our capacity issues with Claude 3.7 right now.
This may cause both initial requests to fail, but also “resume” or “try again” options to fail. You may see errors regarding user requests or tool call failures during this time.
To be transparent, during this time, failed Claude 3.7 requests may still count towards your usage. We are working to fix this logic shortly, and will look at retrospectively fixing usage for failures that have already occurred.
We are working to resolve this already, but for better stability, Claude 3.5 should have significantly less issues for now!
You can track this on status.cursor.com, but I will update this post once things are under control.

I am having some issues with the agent actually finishing what it starts. It tries to generate a file and eventually the request gets marked as “Stopped” with a red X besides it. Not sure if this is the same error. Probably a timeout or something. Unfortunately the generation is not visible so I can’t tell if it was stuck “Generating” or if it just took too much time.
This is unfortunately happening more often than not and making it kinda unusable. I am using Claude 3.7-thinking.

It worked on and off throughout the day but now I am getting errors non-stop. My fast requests just reset and now this is killing it extremely fast with no results to show for it.
Gotta go track down the support email to see if I can get some back for the time wasted.

Still getting looots of failed requests… and it just stopping generating also, this seems especially bad on 0.46.8.
Honestly guys it feels like I’m a beta tester which is fine to be sometimes, but its like this on every version… I really wish the bug rate was a little lower in a product that is crucial to my work. Or more insight on which versions are stable and which aren’t and to be able to chose between these more easily

I switched back to 0.45 and it works fine.
