Vale and inline alerts. How to disable?

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to disable Vale inline alerts such as this (see screen capture below) in the markdown file? I’m using this extension from VSCode: Vale VSCode - Visual Studio Marketplace

I find them very distracting when trying to write with Markdown because the almost look like actual text in the file.

I’ve also used VSCode and these inline alerts don’t appear by default.

Any help would be appreciated.
