Version 0.45.0 what changes

Why don’t I see a changelog on the web yet?
Does the new feature support slow requests?

Probably because they are slowly rolling things out and too focused on the app rather than updating the page itself
And yes! It supports slow requests and works very well! I’m using it rn and its much much better than 0.44.11

you are right

Where do you found this option?

The Cursor changelogs are bad.

As discussed previously, 100% of their customers are developers, the product is an IDE, this shouldn’t be hard.

In theory, the most important change would be the new Fusion tab model, secondary is an update of the VSC version.

Wot?

Where did you get 0.45.x? None of the download pages offers it (all 0.44.11).

I’m up to 0.45.1

How? Different pro plan?

The update process is soo f*cking annoying :frowning:

TY! That’s 0.44.11

I updated and got 0.45.1 - no changelog as mentioned
then when it started up i got another update notice so i clicked that and it seems to have reverted to 0.44.11

The lack of a changelog is getting really irking, covered in previous posts from me and others.

An installed IDE is not the same as a web app, users should be in the loop.

you are right that it is not in the changelog forcing users to figure out what has changed Cursor is bad at this, obviously when updating to a new version, the changelog must be updated so that users know what has changed in the new version.

I applied for a position related to this and addressing other significant communication issues. The process felt alienating with its corporate tone, and they decided to “go in another direction.”

Sadly, I don’t see this changing anytime soon.

Hah I’m in the same boat! Just updated to 0.45.1 and now there’s another update prompt showing up. But I read your post so I’m not accepting it so I can stay on this one instead :joy:

I guess this was short lived. I had it this morning, then cursor suddenly updated (reverted?) a few minutes ago (0.44.11) and now it seems to be gone again :frowning:

(Though at least I still have deepseek-v3 so small wins I guess?)

A new update is coming soon, and a changelog will follow once it’s available to everyone, stay tuned.
