VSCode extension not syncing to latest version on Cursor

First of all, thanks for building such an awesome editor — I’m really enjoying it! :raising_hands:

I recently published an update to my VSCode extension called TailwindCSS Auto Bracket on the VSCode Marketplace. The new version is visible and works fine in VSCode immediately.

However, when I search or install it in Cursor, it still shows the previous version, even after several hours.

I’d love to understand:

  1. Does Cursor automatically sync new versions of extensions from the VSCode Marketplace?

  2. If so, how often does the sync happen?

  3. Is there any way to manually request or trigger an update?

  4. Would you recommend sharing a .vsix file for Cursor users in the meantime?

Thanks again for all your hard work — just wanted to make sure my users always get the latest features when using Cursor!

Hey, this usually takes a few days. If you want to get it now, you’ll need VSCode. Find this extension in it and click on the gear icon, then install it in Cursor. Importantly, disable auto-update, or it will downgrade the version automatically.
