When I using ai conversation, I met the issue as follows.

We encountered an issue when using your openai API key: Provider was unable to process your request

API Error:

Request failed with status code 404

(Request ID: 6f44283f-8870-421a-851e-b1253ce4f3f2)

To check my open ai key right operation by using curl, there are no problems.

Please help me.

I just had the same issue after updating cursor. This is the second time I update and it breaks things.

I think I have a possible solution. After updating Cursor seem to changed the model you are targeting for your queries. Make sure is one of OpenAIs models. That should solve it.

Cursor seems in need to monetize more and more so is trying to make us pay maybe time to move to GitHub copilot?
