We have Opus 4.6 but where Sonnet 5?

At the moment, the latest Anthropic models available are Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 4.5, and Opus 4.6. Usually, when Anthropic releases a new model, Cursor integrates it on the same day, within a few hours.

Good point mascarock. Anthropic is still on the 3.5 architecture. That’s why 4.5 or 5.0 aren’t on any official APIs yet. The Cursor devs usually push those updates to the model picker as soon as Anthropic releases a stable SDK.

Claude Sonnet 5 has not been shown or released yet; once it does come out, it will typically become available in Cursor fairly quickly.
