Web Agents unusable on iOS (iPad & iPhone)

Describe the Bug

I am trying to use the web approach on iOS on both my iPad and iPhone. I have used this approach in the past to create minor changes on a new branch then merge. Today, I tried it and randomly the chat has disappeared.

When looking at cursor’s agent view (after saving the bookmark to the desktop) I can’t see any of the previous chats from today, just one random old one and one I tried to initiate after the chat I was working on disappeared under the “Today heading”.

When I try to go into it, which ever tab I select “chat” or “diff” sometimes shows nothing.

Now that it’s finally showing the chat we had, I can’t select the input field to add new instructions. When I do, it simply closes the agent / pushes me back out to the agent view which only has the chat I am trying to access and one random one from last month, it looks like everything else is lost. This behaviour is worst on iPads, I’d say I can access the input field 5% of the time at best, and it’s random if it will work on the diff tab or the chat tab.

I like the idea of where this is going (but prefer the desktop app) and really want to give it a go but this simple doesn’t work.

Also, when I try to go back to the web view in Safari, on the iPad I can’t access anything when visiting /agents because the prompt for adding the home-screen image blocks the whole screen.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Visit the website /agents on iPhone or iPad using Safari
  • Save to home screen
  • Create a new chat for longer than 3 responses and it typically falls apart from there

Expected Behavior

  • To be able to see the agents list in the Safari browser
  • To be able to access all older chats
  • to be able to use the input box when looking at a specific agent

I see the same issue. Completely unusable on an iPad. Not sure how you claim to have a mobile app solution.

+1 for me as well on iPad Air 13 inch with iOS26

Turn your iPad 90 degrees
