Describe the Bug
When visiting Cursor - The AI Code Editor on my iPad Pro I couldn’t get past this pesky image which didn’t give a clear indication of what I was looking at or how to get rid of the modal. It completely blocked me from getting started with background agents until I could get to another device.
Steps to Reproduce
On a tablet (ex. iPad Pro), or probably just the site in a browser window sized just ever so perfectly, go to cusor.com/agents as a user who has not seen this agent functionality yet (crucial). After signup/login you should see a list of agents and how to create one in view for a brief second before a modal appears with a very confusing image (when it’s zoomed in as it appears in this case).
As I started to prepare a screen recording to demonstrate the issue, I found a quick workaround - the user can use Stage Manager (at least the better one in iPadOS 26) to resize the browser window to have less width which should result in the image now properly appearing as instructions to add the PWA to the user’s Home Screen, importantly with a dismiss button so the user can proceed.
Expected Behavior
I expected to be able to view cursor agents from any of my devices: laptop, phone, iPad - or at the very least not lose access because of a pesky modal I sadly can’t get this screen recording down to below 10MB, but hopefully an iCloud link will do? iCloud Photos - Apple iCloud
If not, let me know I can always be less lazy and move this work over to my desktop and properly squeeze it down to 10MB.
Operating System
MacOS
Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)
Not applicable in this situation. Am using iPad Pro 12.9 inch running OS 26 (notably in beta at the moment), and am doing this on Arc.
Does this stop you from using Cursor
Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
