Hi Cursor Team!
Oddly enough, I was a customer for the web-based background agents UI first before ever really using the IDE. I was after a solution that would enable me to make progress with my projects from my phone (foldable, so there is more than the normal amount of screen real-estate).
Not sure if it was the goal, but I’ve found Cursor - The AI Code Editor to be the best solution. That being said, that’s not because the web UI is particularly great on mobile. It’s a function of how genuinely awful anything else I’ve tried has been.
In my time using the web interface from my phone, there is one primary feature which I think is really needed. We need to be able to point to specific parts of the code when making follow up messages. Especially on mobile it is hard to get the agent to understand what you want without referencing specific code blocks or symbols.
Even some autocomplete of the code symbols (even if just from the generated code) would go a long way, and could even be implemented fully in the client
