For a very brief period of time before I got rolled back, the agent was able to search the web on his own (without using @web) and dynamically search the web for information.
Then I got rolled back, and now I’m back on 45.3 but this seems no longer to be the case.
Was that a bug, was it intentionally removed, or is something buggy with my install? I think it would be such a killer feature.
Hi, yes, I was asking whether it should be possible for the agent to use websearches dynamically without me having to do @web. if I do @web it only does one initial websearch - it doesn’t dynamically search the web to find information (similar to how it e.g. searches the codebase or lists files).
I’m pretty sure it did have that ability for a very brief time - before I got rolled back.
Unfortunately, I can’t confirm that, as I haven’t tested it before, but I’ll ask our team about it. Regarding the icons, I just use the Tabler Product Icons extension, which overrides the default Cursor icons.
We briefly tested a local web tool for the agent, where it could browse both public and local web pages using a tool, but it has since been removed due to security risks.
We’re hoping to bring back a similar feature soon!
