What do you guys do when Claude 4 is done?

Hey again, continuing my past thread, even though you split the files and make them smaller for better use of Ai, but in reality, and I have to say it, all models besides Claude 4 vary in how trashy they are, some are 40%, some are 80% and so on, nothing comes close to how Claude 4 builds and fixes code.

For all of us 20$ gang, what do we do when we spend that budget in the first 12 days, what do you guys do for the rest of the 18 days?

Do you just battle with this bad quality (and I say with all respect compared to Claude 4) till the end of month?

“Let me try one more time with the correct line numbers:” and tons of these lines…

Currently using auto mode that’s costs $.20 per request apparently because it won’t let me use claude 4.

:exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head: Yea that’s not okay

No… No it is not. I don’t know what’s going on. I thought everything was supposed to reset monthly but I’ve used Cursor for 1 day and burned over hald my credits on Auto mode?!

Yep… i am locked into Auto mode.. Can’t switch to premium models unless I do max mode or pay $60 month. Consistently burning premium credits. Can’t opt-out of new pricing scheme.

Where do you see auto coating 20 cents per request? Auto should provide free and unlimited use

I am only using Auto mode because that’s all it is letting me use. I was able to use Claude 4 for a little while yesterday (my reset day or so I thought) but then it forced me into using Auto mode again.

As to watching my credits get burned I’m looking at the new dashboard in my cursor account in the usage section and refreshing every time a make a (single)request in auto mode. I have since stopped because I think there is a glitch and I’m just burning credits with minimal production.

To be specifically clear.

This is what I am referring to.

@nodesyn Ahh, we show the API value of the requests using default/auto there, but those aren’t counted against the premium model limits. We’ll add a clarification in the dashboard there to make that clear.

Oh, ok. Thank you! It looked like I was burning out of my $20 limit.

Could you provide a complete list of models that are considered premium?
