When Will the Grok 4 Heavy Model Be Added?

I’m wondering when the Grok 4 Heavy model will be integrated into Cursor. Is there any official timeline or announcement regarding its availability?

From what I’ve seen, this new model seems to outperform all other models in coding tasks. The gap between it and Claude 4 Opus appears to be quite significant.

This is very sad news because there is a huge difference between it and other models. Is this news certain? .

No, it was a joke. But if you consider that using a regular Grok 4 is more expensive than Gemini and maybe near the Claude 4 Thinking level, then Grok 4 Heavy should be at the Opus level or even more expensive.

I hope Grok 4 Heavy will be added to the Pro plan as well, because I had the chance to try it and it delivers a performance beyond engineering. If it performs the same on Cursor too, I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone starts switching from Claude 4 Opus to Grok 4 Heavy — though that does make me a bit nervous, haha. This time, it’s probably going to get rate-limited too.
