Grok-4 Missing in Latest Cursor 1.2.4?

Hi there,

I’m on the latest Cursor version but only see grok-3 and grok-3-mini in Models settings. No grok-4 option.

Version Details:

  • Cursor: 1.2.4
  • VSCode: 1.99.3
  • Updated: 2025-07-10T16:59:43.242Z (5 hrs ago)
  • OS: Linux x64

Is Grok-4 being rolled out gradually? Any requirements to access it?

Make sure to have it selected in settings.

Thank you very much. I have seen grok-4, but I still have the following questions at present:

  1. The response of grok-4 is relatively slow.
  2. Why is there no grok-4 heavy？

heavy version is not provided via api by x-ai and it is slow because thats how grok works, not an issue on cursor end
