Yeah, its already available on openrouter, I think Cursor team should add it soon. Or maybe they are delaying it because of their OpenAI partnership - who knows
I wonder what is the blocker on integrating grok models for the cursor team right now, considering that the recent grok model pricing model is quite competitive for the performance.
granted the pricing for the models are based on a <128k context length
but even at the high-end its perhaps the least expensive model to run for the intelligence that cursor is offering right now Models | Cursor Docs .
Perhaps these model’s agentic capability is subpar? or the team is having a hard time adapting the model to their harness. with the recent wave of models released, it feels like the avg cost of using cursor has gone up, it would be nice to have a model in-between to soften the trend.
