Why Cursor can be better than visual studio code version 1.99 and the new capabilities of agent mode in vs code.

Some features that come to my mind:

Cursor:

  1. has much better auto complete (Tab Tab). With Supermaven integration, it should get blazing fast.
  2. has custom docs feature which helps the models work with latest info.
  3. let’s us create custom modes along with the Ask, Edit and Agent eg. plan, design, dev etc.
  4. provides many more models to work with.

Heavy users of both editors would point out more differences. For now, I enjoy working with Cursor as it gets my job done faster.
