In version 0.47.7, we can now select “Claude Thinking Max.”
But the pricing seems weird, why is “Thinking Max” cheaper at $0.05 compared to “Thinking” at $0.08?
Also, if we do the math, it should only cost 1.25 requests.

Not cheaper bro. With 3.7 Thinking, we have almost infinite request. With 3.7 max, we cost more
I dont know.. There are a video or something about the launch?
it is not. it charge you ‘premium-tool-call’ based on usage. i think 10 edit call occur per 1 complex request using claude 3.7 so cost is about $0.55 per request. it is much more expensive.
I its more or less the same thing Claude Code is doing for a similar price.
I tried to use Claude Code for two days. Heavy use costs around 100$ a day.
I’m curious about this too. The labeling in the ui and the docs I’ve found are misleading or at the very least not completely clear.
Can Cursor please make a good pricing table that clearly defines what is being charged and what you are getting for it.
After I read several topic
yes it has cheaper price at begining but cursor also charge us for tooling (0.05)
that mean if you have lint error and agent will fix that its charged 0.05 again
