on latest version, both win and ubuntu, “add folder to chat” not working, why???

on latest version, both win and ubuntu, “add folder to chat”

Operating System

Windows 10/11
Linux

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

latest version 2.0 ,just updated

Hey, thanks for the report. I can confirm this isn’t working.

Workaround: use @ in the chat:

  • Type @ in the chat input
  • Select “Files & Folders”
  • Navigate to your folder and select it

Folder context functionality works, only the right‑click context menu option is broken.

now I open 3 independent folders/projects under a workplace, and tried @ in chat, but “files & folder“ showed “no option

available“

You can also drag the folder from the Explorer tree into chat.
