Worktrees under ~/.cursor/worktrees/ are temporary Cursor workspaces that get deleted

Really nothing to do but cry over a weeks lost work and never let Cursor start a new project without telling it to put it somewhere else.

I suppose it is deleted by some other application? There is a setting in cursor which determines how often cursor itself deletes unused worktrees - Parallel Agents | Cursor Docs

Also if I am not mistaken you cannot change where worktrees are saved.
