Well, as everyone can see, this latest update to the cursor is terrible. The models are not working properly. It often creates files without even reading my codebase, as it should always be. It is difficult to make it correct things. It is generating more errors and generating more rework than solving a problem, even if it is something not very complex. Could there be something behind it that does not want us Vibe Coders to continue developing?
There has to be some explanation for why the models are getting dumber, for me to have to convince the model to change the code. I really don’t understand. Everything works perfectly, but they simply decide to do things and make them available without them working properly. That is why I prefer not to be early access to new features, precisely to avoid this. For the love of god Cursor Developers, please fix it, you started to change many lives, many people reinvented themselves with Vibe Coding, especially Cursor, it’s sad to see something that you believed in so much, shared among friends, and today the tool seems to have simply become dumbed down.
