Feature request for product/service
Cursor IDE
Describe the request
As title. This seems to be a massive oversight and sadly highlights that no one at Cursor is using WSL or testing compatibility before shipping.
WSL is a necessity for us Windows users, who develop web applications for Linux hosts.
A lack of WSL support for Cursor 3’s biggest feature is a real kick in the teeth.
Please pour some time and energy into this user base, and please test WSL compatibility before shipping any further releases!
Thanks.

I get a prompt to install an extension in the agents window, but after doing it I get prompted again and it doesn’t work:

Yes, this is the issue we’re all seeing. Cursor 3 was shipped without testing WSL compatibility.

I should have clarified that I was giving additional information for the people from cursor who look at this, not discounting your original post.

Haven’t tested deeply, but seems to work now on the latest build (updated just now)
