I am partial to o3. I find it gives me the most reliable use inside of cursor. My code base is a bit messy and fairly complex.

I added an anonymous poll, I’m curious what others use!

Why I dislike some of the other models:

  1. Claude solid but I feel somehow was downgraded after 3.5. I find that it’s just not quite as “smart” or consistent as o3.

  2. GPT-5 is horrendously slow and thinks too much and tries to change way too much. Overbearing and slow.

  3. Grok was fast but extremely sloppy and tried to do too much

  4. Kimi-2 I haven’t experiment with a lot but it was okay.
