0.45 is amazing

Been hypercritical of 0.44, but I must support and praise the new good changes as aggressively as I berated the bad ones

love the look, liked black better but this look is very good

the super complex weird stuff with composer is not happening anymore and the composer seems to be way smarter

It’s still early but it seems to be super fast, have better understanding of the code with the same models

love the review changes feature it seems to show another LAYER of thinking that’s been added to the AI

It’s doing huge edits without causing any errors when those errors would’ve been EXPECTED in the earlier version

Again, very early but I am optimistic

I agree, I’ve seen a big improvement and at least in these two days I haven’t received the errors I received before regarding excessive deletion or problems with composer or others.

Also the “large context” option and being able to work with DeepSeek r1 is an incredible improvement.

Using 0.45.1.

Can you share the latest version of the compressed file

I think they are gradually releasing the update to users.

Anyway if you search getcursor on github there are some posts about it on how to download specific versions, I don’t want to break the TOS

Thank you for finding it

Dear Development Team,

I was genuinely enthusiastic about the latest update. It’s astounding! Using just normal Composer, I requested specific modifications, and they were implemented without bugs, without deleting irrelevant parts of the code, or adding lines where they shouldn’t be. It systematically and accurately placed each modification in the correct spot using the Depp Sek R model. I’m truly fascinated.

Kudos to the entire development team. Please, don’t break any features again. Now, I can foresee that you’re back on the right track, the one you should have taken all along.

Stay calm soon update the update on this one arriving in waves for everyone for me it only arrived this afternoon

how do you enable deepseek?

and does it still cost .40 per request?

link to instructions?

Remove the old version first, then install.

this helped

this way

For creating new code, ideas better. But for editing existing code Claude slightly better.

how about to Project Rules?

we don’t need to limit model with our, sometimes wrong rules. It’s overloading context. It’s my view.

First Remove the old cursor and then install. If you already have binary at /usr/local/bin/cursor. Delete that too then install should work.
