Basically sometimes for some reason the agent cancels it self and stops running. It happened a few times yesterday on 0.46.3 after it had ran for a long time grepping the codebase and reading a bunch of files. And today I got this, I just ran the prompt and watched the screen and it got an error and then stopped running and entered this “prompt editing” state, and said user aborted request (I did not).
The request ID at the bottom is:
8ea74910-db59-4042-b2a7-3567c8d95f05
It feels like it might have to do when there is an error calling the backend or the model or something, but it should prefferably try again, and not exit itself (and not accuse the user of canceling it haha). Cus right now its just stuck on generating when I try to run this again, assuming sonnet 3.7 is down or your servers maybe? It would be nice to get more insight into what its doing when it says Generating… also, would be easier to troubleshoot then
Hey, it seems the issue is related to the MCP server call, it doesn’t receive a response and cancels the request. Check if all servers are operational.
Getting the same ‘User aborted request’ - No idea why. Seems like I’m just burning tokens at this point. No MCP,
