Describe the Bug
Ever since the update I run into moments where the agent becomes unresponsive and is stuck in ‘Generating’. Starting a new chat “fixes” it, but the new agent ofcourse has no context any more from previous chat.
The agent/chat now also continues assuming edits to the code failed because I’m not accepting them fast enough. And gets stuck in a loop of trying to correct it’s failure. No matter how fast I hit Accept.
I always have to interupt the agent’s loop asking it to reread the file(s), after which it then finally confirms the correct edits were made.
A similar issue happens when the Agent is doing terminal commands, it thinks it didn’t work and says it didn’t get any termainal output back. Also creating a loop of retrying the same thing in different ways. Even though the first try was actually successful.
- Auto-Run Mode is disabled
- Not using Custom Modes
- Include Full-Folder Context is disabled
Steps to Reproduce
Hard to add specific steps to reproduce as one just seems to happen randomly, although the longer you haven’t interacted with the agent the more likely it will get stuck on Generating (session expired?)
The other one happens pretty much always.
