0.47 Cursor Tab is dead

Cursor Tab is empty in 0.47.X
How do I fix this without having to uninstall and reinstall?

UPDATE: I had to try reinstalling anyway. no luck, still blank

Could you provide a screenshot of the entire editor (or is this the entire editor?)

When updating, “chat as editor” is selected by default. If you select “open as pane” this issue gets fixed.

Try press ctrl/cmd + shift + p and search for “Open composer as Pane” than press Enter.
