Cursor Composer disappeared in Version: 0.46.2

Hi guys,

I just updated Cursor and now Composer seems to have disappeared. CMD + I doesn’t bring it up, and it isn’t an option in Beta Settings.

Chat is still there, but no composer.

Has anyone else seen this?

Hey, I’ve already answered this question here:

Is there any substantial difference between Agent and Edit other than tool-calling and/or command use?

When trying to switch between Agent, Ask and Edit, nothing happens. I am stuck in Ask and cannot switch to Agent.
Does anyone share this issue?

Nevermind my last comment. After updating to 0.46.5 that works again!

Wow, the whole chat vs agent vs composer thing is so confusing and getting worse. Can you add this to the documentation or knowledge base?

Can you make it so Agent doesn’t takeover mid conversation? I choose edit, start the thread, then i will notice it has switched to Agent on it’s own and has gone into some sort of loop… saving files on it’s own and making changes where not asked/required.

I just wasted so much time trying to figure out what happened to my Composer tab. There should be some bread crumbs built into the UI that directs people to the change, like when I CMD + Shift + P and type Composer it should lead me to Agent or Edit… Or maybe put (Composer) next to those options.

mine does not have edit option  it has manual instead!

Hey, we renamed this option.
