It would be great if Cursor could understand what is rejected. So it won’t bring back the rejected parts again.

Where can we download 0.48?
is beta until now, enable beta releases on editor
Been on for me since 0.47 dropped, still no available updates after 0.47.8. Even 0.47.9 isn’t available via updater or download on the site.
seems to have a tendancy to run terminal cmds in an external terminal window. this would be fine however the agent dosent catch errors and just assumes the cmd worked. was much better when terminal cmds were ran in the chat window and the agent would automatically troubleshoot

All I want is for them to make a custom mode that does exactly what 0.45 chat does
If they do that then I will upgrade, and try out all their other fancy stuff from time to time
But if they won’t do that, then I literally can’t upgrade because I will immediately fall behind on my work targets
And what impact would all these features have on the quality of code and contextual awareness. if it is 0 then it is of no use to alot of people
I believe fixing core issues is more important than some shiny new feature

To update to latest version you need to go to cursor settings → beta features → update frequency and change it from standard to early access

I make this, and I can see small window in the left cornet “updates available”.
I push this button, Cursor restarted and nothing was happened. Cursor still o.47.8
What a great update. Really like the UX and DX improvements in 0.48.
From the forum its also visble that there are less issues as well

It should restart automatically during update, and you should not restart it manually.

The Cursor shows that an update is available in the top-left corner. Then it displays that the update is being downloaded and offers to restart. I restart the app, but it still shows the same version. It doesn’t restart automatically after the update either.
