After updating to version 1.3, I can’t modify files anymore. Every time I try, it tells me there’s a git tool call failure. Why is modifying files related to git tool calls? What kind of crappy update is this?

After updating to version 1.3, I can’t modify files anymore. Every time I try, it tells me there’s a git tool call failure. Why is modifying files related to git tool calls? What kind of crappy update is this?
