I’ve a modal that appear each 5 minutes about cursor update, i tried a lot of time but i got always same error
Steps to Reproduce
It’s auto modal related tu cursor update

Does this stop you from using Cursor
No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, it looks like the file might not have sufficient execution permissions, or it could be blocked by antivirus software, or marked as read-only. Also, please check if any Cursor processes are running during the update.
You can also try downloading the latest version here:
@deanrie I had this issue and worked out that cursor was running in the background even after cursor closed the application, it was the first time it had happened.

@faycaltravel75 If this happens again, open task manager and search for cursor, right click on it and end task, this will allow you to update.
I’ve tried it many times , i checked very well all the cursor process are not running and i got the same error after
Are you an individual or at a business thats behind a firewall?
