I don’t really know how to better explain this phenomenon (I’m trying to be kind with the terminology) that is very annoying with Cursor. hasn’t really happened to before 2.6.19.
Instead of applying line edits, etc. cursor is creating its own “c:” .tmp files cursor calls them preview tabs where it is rewrite the whole codebase with the code changes it suggests. So I essentially have to ether copy paste the changed snippets over to the actual file or just copy/paste the entire codebase over to the actual file. This was never the case before
Here are 5 screenshots of the problem.
Here is 1 screenshot of me actually “arguing” with cursor about this phenomenon.

Steps to Reproduce
How can you reproduce this bug? We have a much better chance at fixing issues if we can reproduce them!
-
please see screenshots I haven’t had a chance reproduce the issue because I’ve been busy reinstalling 2.6.19 which tends to constantly uninstall itself and drives me crazy Sorry
-
basically cursor should not be creating preview tabs to show me the edits. It used to make edits in the actual file and I have the option to keep(accept individually) / reject , etc.
Expected Behavior
What is meant to happen here that isn’t working correctly?
typically, a preview tab isn’t generated. line edits are applied and I can accept/reject on the “actual” file, not in a preview tab.
Screenshots / Screen Recordings
they are attached. 6 in total above. 5 show the problem. 1 shows me “arguing” with cursor.
