Hello Cursor Team and Community,
I have been exploring Cursor – The AI Code Editor, and I see that it has many powerful features. However, as a blind programmer using screen readers like NVDA and JAWS, I have encountered significant accessibility issues that make it difficult to benefit from these features.
One major issue is that I cannot read the suggestions provided by the AI or programming language extensions. In contrast, VSCode handles this seamlessly because of its strong commitment to accessibility.
I would like to ask: Does Cursor have an interest in improving accessibility?
If accessibility improvements are possible, I would be happy to provide detailed explanations of the issues faced by screen reader users.
Looking forward to your response!
Best regards,
