Just last week I was able to see side-by-side diffs of code changes from composer if I opened composer up full screen. But not that mode doesn’t seem to be available anymore. Can you please add it back? Looking at code diffs is a critical part of using compose, and it’s much harder to see the diffs vertically all in one pane.

Same, I really liked the composer view where you could see all the edited files in a dedicated sidebar and click through side-by-side diffs.

I’m guessing with 5 votes this isn’t happening. I keep having to re-download 0.42.5 which is annoying but it works sooooo well.

One more vote for this one. I find it nearly impossible to follow large changes in the vertical orientation. I’ve been evaluating Cursor and Cline and the lack of a side-by-side view is a big negative for me.

Does it not work to click on the diff in Chat then it opens the full file?
For me this is an accessibility feature. I’m colorblind and I depend on side-by-side diffs to know what’s what. Now the only way to do it is to try to compare red and green which simply doesn’t work for me. Please bring back side-by-side diffs as an option.
